Actress Genelia D'Souza (Deshmukh), who is basking in the glory of her latest release Sitaare Zameen Par, is all set for her much-awaited movie Junior. The highly anticipated movie, also starring Sreeleela and Kiriti Reddy in the lead, is set to hit the theatres on July 18. Ahead of its release, the actress engaged in a Q&A session on Instagram. Well, the conversation took an unexpected turn when a fan offered the actress a marriage proposal. However, the GunMaaster G9 actress turned down the offer playfully.

Genelia Responds To Marriage Proposal
Notably, ahead of the release of her upcoming flick Junior, Genelia engaged in a delightful conversation with her fans during an Ask Me Anything session on her Instagram stories. While fans flooded her with multiple queries, one fan drew everyone's attention.
The fan offered a marriage proposal to Genelia.
The fan wrote, "I love you so much, marry me?" (sic)
However, Genelia responded playfully and wrote, "I would have considered… But I am married to the most gorgeous man ever." (sic)
Genelia's graceful reply with humour won the hearts of fans.
Genelia and Riteish's Love Story
Genelia's response is a gentle reminder of her sweet love story with husband Riteish Deshmukh. The duo first met in 2003 on the sets of their debut film Tujhe Meri Kasam. While Riteish found Genelia's reserved demeanour a bit confusing, the latter thought the former to be arrogant.
Despite the initial misjudgments, their professional relationship blossomed into a genuine friendship. Their bond deepened with time. Along with their on-screen chemistry, their off-screen bond grew stronger. With time, their affection turned into an unshakable love, but the duo maintained the secrecy of their relationship.
