Huma Qureshi is celebrating one of the biggest phases of her life. While her latest film, Bayaan, made its grand world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) 2025, reports suggest the actress has also taken a major personal step.
According to Hindustan Times, Huma is now engaged to her long-time rumoured boyfriend, acting coach Rachit Singh.

Speculation about their relationship gained traction when singer Akasa Singh, a close friend, shared a candid photo with the couple on social media. Alongside the picture, she wrote, “Congratulations on your little piece of heaven with the best name, Huma. Had the best night.” The heartfelt post sparked widespread curiosity about Huma’s bond with Rachit.
Sources quoted in the report revealed that Huma and Rachit have been dating for nearly a year. The two have often been spotted together at private gatherings and parties. Rachit has even appeared in family photos with Huma and her brother, actor Saqib Saleem, including celebrations at the launch of Gauri Khan’s restaurant, Torii.

Rachit Singh is a respected acting coach in Bollywood. Over the years, he has worked with several top stars such as Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan, Vicky Kaushal, Anushka Sharma, and Saif Ali Khan. Recently, he also appeared on-screen as Vedant in Raveena Tandon and Varun Sood’s web series Karmma Calling.

On the work front, Huma Qureshi continues to shine. She was last seen in Tarla, the biopic of chef and author Tarla Dalal. Her upcoming projects include Jolly LLB 3, the third instalment of the courtroom comedy-drama directed by Subhash Kapoor, starring alongside Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, and Saurabh Shukla. She will also feature in Pooja Meri Jaan with Mrunal Thakur.
Meanwhile, her film Bayaan had its world premiere at TIFF on September 6. Reflecting on the milestone, Huma shared that the experience has made her feel more humble and grateful.
