Moviegoers eagerly waiting for the much-awaited announcement of Hera Pheri 3 exploded with excitement after Akshay Kumar confirmed renowned filmmaker Priyadarshan coming on board as the director for the highly-anticipated comedy caper. What has added to the excitement is actor Gulshan Grover's post. From Grover's social post, it seems, Kabira will be back to settle the score with Raju, Shyam and Baburao.
Priyadarshan to Helm Hera Pheri 3
On Priyadarshan's birthday, January 30, Akki wished Priyadarshan and talked about celebrating his director's special day on the set of Bhoot Bangla. Apart from thanking him, Priyadarshan talked about Hera Pheri 3, as a return gift.

Next, Akki giving his nod said that it is the best gift he got in his life and wrote, "Chalo karte hain phir thodi Hera Pheri" (sic)

Well, what added to the excitement was Gulshan Grover's post. Sharing Akki's post, he wrote, "KABIRA SPEAKING …Hera Pheri3 ! Kabira is exited … let’s do it …..This is the best news I have heard." (sic)
Meanwhile, Suniel wrote, "Hera Pheri aur pooch pooch!!! Let's do this #HeraPheri3." (sic)
Grover reposted his post on X and wrote, "Yes Suniel brother absolutely! Hera Pheri aur pooch pooch !! Shetty my brother Kabira ko tag nahi kiya ? Kabira speaking ke bina Hera Pheri?” (sic)
Well, Gulshan's post confirms that he is back on board and will reprise his iconic role of Kabira.

Notably, 2000's Hera Pheri starred Akshay Kumar (Raju), Suniel Shetty (Shyam), Paresh Rawal (Baburao), Tabu (Anuradha), Gulshan Grover (Kabira) and Om Puri (Khadak Singh) in pivotal roles. The first instalment of the franchise was written by Neeraj Vohra and directed by Priyadarshan. However, in Phir Hera Pheri, while Akki, Suniel and Paresh reprised their iconic roles, the second instalment was written and directed by Neeraj Vohra in 2006. It also saw several new faces. After waiting for long years, the reports of Hera Pheri 3 going on the floors streamed excitement among all. However, the reports of Farhad Samji fumed the netizens. Many even went on to request that Akki and the team replace Samji. Well, the reports of Priyadarshan coming on board have elated everyone.
