Hera Pheri 3: Suniel Shetty and Priyadarshan react to Paresh Rawal's return

Veteran actor Paresh Rawal's return to Hera Pheri 3 after a whirlwind of controversies is pure ecstasy for fans. After Rawal confirmed his return to the franchise for the third instalment, producer Firoz Nadiadwala 'disclosed' the reason that changed the veteran actor's mind. Well, now actor Suniel Shetty and director Priyadarshan have reacted to his return.

Suniel Shetty's Reaction To Paresh Rawal's Return

Suniel Shetty, who played Ghanshyam aka Shyam in both instalments of the Hera Pheri franchise, is set to reprise his iconic role in the third instalment as well. While Rawal's abrupt exit from Hera Pheri 3 had left Shetty shocked, his return seems to have elated the Umrao Jaan actor.

During an interview with the YouTube channel Sai Safar, Shetty said, "Maine bhi suna hai fine tuning ho gayi hai. Ab seedha release ke time baat karunga 'Hera Pheri 3' ki."

He also highlighted the comic theme of Hera Pheri 3 and said, "Aapko pata hai ki log sirf hasne hi hasne waale hain."

Here's What Priyadarshan Said On Paresh Rawal's Return

Now that Paresh Rawal is back in the franchise, fans can't wait to see the veteran actor reprising his iconic role of Baburao Ganpat Rao Apte aka Babu Bhaiya. While Akshay Kumar is yet to comment on the Sanju actor's return, Priyadarshan recently broke his silence during an exclusive interview with HT City.

Priyadarshan, sharing his thoughts about things coming back on track, said, "I am living in South India, whenever a film is signed, I will go to shoot it. I am only committed to Akshay Kumar to do this film, I don’t know anybody else.”

Further, he added, "I don’t believe in the politics of cinema. Suniel, Akshay and Paresh are my best friends. There was difference of opinion between them, that has been sorted. This is all I know. I don’t think anybody else is involved in it.”

Though the director didn't mention anyone's name, his statement comes after producer Firoz's claims of his brother Sajid Nadiadwala playing a major role in mediating the controversy.

According to Priyan, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal informed him that they all discussed and sorted out the issues, and decided to do the film. He also said that it has nothing to do with any other individual.

Furthermore, the filmmaker also informed that he will not be starting Hera Pheri 3 this year, as after wrapping Bhooth Bangla, he will start working with Akki and Saif Ali Khan on a project.
