Paresh Rawal walking out from the upcoming comic caper Hera Pheri 3 came as a huge shock for many who were eagerly waiting for the long-delayed third instalment of the cult comedy Hera Pheri franchise. Well, it is not just the audience, the Hungama actor's exit from Hera Pheri 3 has sent shockwaves through the entire team. After Paresh Rawal's clarification, Priyadarshan shared his reaction. And, now, Suniel Shetty broke his silence on Baburao Ganpatrao Apte aka Babu Bhaiya's exit.

Shyam aka Suniel Shetty Breaks Silence
During an interview with India Today, Suniel Shetty, who played Shyam aka Ghanshyam in both parts of the Hera Pheri franchise, expressed his shock at Paresh Rawal's decision. He also revealed that Akshay Kumar, who played Raju's role in the Hera Pheri franchise, is clueless about it.
Suniel was quoted as saying, "This is absolutely shocking. I first thought about texting him, and then I thought I’d meet him and would discuss it. I have had no word about it with anybody. Even Akshay is clueless as to what happened.”
Further, sharing his views on Paresh's exit, Suniel added, "This is a crisis. We are in the middle of this film, and this is the biggest shock. We were going to begin shooting next year. We had already started, in fact. We shot a promo. It’s a big thing. This is so shocking. I can’t make sense of this. And you know who sent it? Athiya and Ahaan - they both sent it to me within 15 minutes, asking ‘papa what is this?’. And I was here doing my interviews, and I felt like ‘holy s***’.”
Akshay Suing Paresh for Sabotaging Hera Pheri 3, Priyadarshan Reacts
Notably, after Paresh Rawal confirmed his exit from Hera Pheri 3, with a clarification that his decision is not for 'creative differences' with Priyadarshan, reports surfaced that Akshay Kumar sent a legal notice to Paresh, suing him for Rs 25 crore, for abandoning and sabotaging the film.
It is pertinent to mention here that Akshay Kumar legally bought the rights of Hera Pheri from producer Feroz Nadiadwala. Even Akki is producing Hera Pheri 3 and has already invested in the film.
As filmmaker Priyadarshan shared, before starting the film, Akki asked him to check with both Suniel and Paresh. After getting a nod, they came on board. After prolonged delays, finally, the trio shot the promo for Hera Pheri 3 which was planned to release soon. However, Paresh Rawal walked out without informing any of them.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, when Paresh was reached out for a comment on Akshay suing him, the Ready actor stated that he was not aware of it yet.
