Hera Pheri 3: Fans request Akshay Kumar to replace Farhad Samji with Anees Bazmee or Priyadarshan

Yes, it’s finally happening. Iconic trio – Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal are all set to return as Baburao, Raju and Shyam and tickle the funny bones of fans in Hera Pheri 3, the third installment of the bone-tickling comedy franchise.

However, fans seem to be disappointed after reports surfaced that Farhad Samji has been roped in to direct the cult classic franchise. Now, angry fans are signing an online petition and requesting superstar Akshay Kumar to remove Farhad as the director.

While fans are super thrilled to see the trio together and enjoy the classic comedy, they are upset about Farhad directing the movie. Fans are not too happy with the ‘Housefull 4’ director directing the movie and claimed he does not suit for directing the sequel of the iconic movie.

The online petition reads, “We do not want Farhad Samji directing a classic film franchise such as Hera Pheri. His track record of previous films directed has not been satisfying for which the film Phir Hera Pheri needs a replacement.”

On the other hand, many fans claimed that there are 3 directors who can give justice to the franchise and they are the previous director himself Priyadarshan and Welcome franchise fame Anees Bazmee.

Priyadharshan had directed the first installment of the superhit franchise and fans wish he returns as the director Hera Pheri 3 too. Known for directing the Welcome franchise and most recently Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Anees Bazmee has a great sense of comedy and also has given multiple cult comedy movies.

The man knows how to tickle the funny bones of his audience and can easily pull off and nail the gig.
