On Wednesday, the makers dropped an intense announcement teaser of GunMaaster G9, sparking excitement among fans across social media. GunMaaster G9 marks the iconic collaboration of Emraan Hashmi and Himesh Reshammiya, which defined an era of Bollywood music in the 2000s. Now, with GunMaaster G9, the iconic duo is set to rekindle the magic.
Emraan's Violent Avatar
The first video shared on Instagram shows a mysterious hand fishing out a gun from a bucket of milk. Meanwhile, in the background, Emraan’s voiceover echoes, "Mujhse mach mach kiya, chalega. Galti se family ko touch kiya toh yaad rakhna, dhande se doodh waala hun, banda baroodwala hun" (You messed with me—fine. But if you mess with my family by mistake, remember this: I may be in the milk business, but I'm a man who deals with gunpowder)."
From the voice over and intense background score, it seems, Emraan will be seen in a violent avatar.
Genelia Gears Up For Never-Before-Seen Avatar!
The second clip also has a similar setting and shows a woman's hand pulling out a knife from the milk bucket. Genelia's voice in the background echoes, "Ghar ki bahu hoon, par iska yeh matlab nahi ki nirmal aur sital hoon. Ghar mein sabzi ayegi, toh sabzi katungi. Lekin agar ghar mein gundey badmash aye, toh sabzi thodi katungi? (I’m the daughter-in-law of the house. That doesn’t mean I’m only gentle and soft. If there are vegetables at home, I’ll chop them. But if goons and thugs show up, I won’t just be chopping vegetables.)”
Sharing the clip, Genelia wrote, "Sabzi katu ya Gundey (in Hindi), The Choice is Yours." (sic)
Aparshakti: The Baddie!
The third clip shows another hand pulling out an explosive from the milk bucket. Aparshakti Khurana is heard introducing his character, saying, “Lohe Ki Kathi, Desu Rathi. Haath mein hain bomb. Gurgaon main log humse 70 kilometre dur rehte hain kyunki bomb aur hum kabhi bhi fatt sakte hain (Iron’s bite, Desu Rathi. I’ve got a bomb in my hand. In Gurgaon, people stay 70 kilometres away from me—because the bomb and I can explode anytime).”
