Makers of Junior NTR’s ‘Simhadri’ have re-released the blockbuster movie to mark the actor’s 39th birthday. The 2003 superhit film was remastered and re-released in 4K for the fans of NTR.

The movie has opened to excellent reception and registered a solid opening. Excited and die-hard fans of NTR thronged theatres across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to re-live the young days of the RRR actor.

However, the celebration went a little too far after the fire broke out in a theatre in Vijayawada following the bursting of crackers by fans inside the theatre. Several seats were burnt in the mishap, thereby disrupting the screening of the movie.

The show had to be canceled after the fire mishap and police were deployed to control the crowd. Luckily, no one has been injured in the mishap, reports said. Video of the incident has now been going viral on social media.

Directed by Baahubali director SS Rajamouli, Simhadri was a huge hit after his debut movie Student No. 1 also directed by him. On the work front, NTR is currently busy shooting his upcoming movie Devara, directed by filmmaker Koratala Siva.

The film marks the Telugu debut of Janhvi Kapoor and actor Saif Ali Khan who is going to play the antagonist role. Moreover, NTR also has War 2 along with Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan.

Earlier, Hrithik Roshan had extended birthday wishes to NTR and wrote, “Happy Birthday Tarak! Wishing you a joyous day and an action-packed year ahead… Awaiting you on the yuddhabhumi my friend. May your days be full of happiness and peace, until we meet.”
