Australian cricketer David Warner is an Indian movie fanatic. His love for Indian movies and actors, especially Allu Arjun, is well documented. During the pandemic, Warner uploaded several videos in which he recreated the Tollywood Icon Star's songs from Pushpa: The Rise. Interestingly, his family also joined him in the videos. Soon, the videos went viral and fans urged the cricketer to make a debut in Indian cinema. Well, finally, the wait comes to an end as David Warner is all set to make his debut in a Telugu flick; sadly it's not with Allu Arjun.

David Warner All Set For Telugu Debut!

During a recent event in Hyderabad, producer Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movies made the big revelation. On Monday, Shankar revealed that David Warner will be soon making his debut with a Telugu flick. He said that the Australian cricketer will play an exciting role in Venky Kudumula's Robinhood, starring Nithiin and Sreeleela in the lead.

Notably, when the producer was asked to 'leak' some details about the film, Shankar said, "There is someone making a cameo in this film. I don't know if I should reveal it."

When Nithiin gestured for Shankar to go ahead, he said, "David Warner has played a small role. I am sorry Venky. I had to reveal it without your permission because they insisted."

Further, talking about Warner's character in the movie, Shankar said, "His character will be very exciting. I feel proud we're launching him in Indian cinema, that too with Robinhood.

Notably, in September 2024, a few pictures of David Warner leaked online. In the photos, Warner was seen stepping down from a helicopter with a gun in hand in Melbourne. Soon after the pictures went viral, fans started speculating that it was for Pushpa 2: The Rule. Well, fans had pinned high hopes that Warner would be seen sharing screen space with Allu Arjun.

But, sadly, he will not be seen with Bunny. However, his entry into Indian cinema certainly has paved the way and fans can just wait with their fingers crossed to see the Australian cricketer in more Indian movies.
