Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara was one-of-a-kind movie in Bollywood that had the story revolving around all-men trip across the world. Led by the trio of Hrithik Roshan , Abhay Deol, and Farhan Akhtar, the film continues to be a classic with an immense following even today. Fans have been eagerly awaiting for its director Zoya Akhtar to come up with a sequel for this film but unfortunately, there have been no such updates even though fans are eager to watch a Zindagi Na Milegi Doobara sequel in theaters.

So when pictures and clips of the trio from ZNMD started surfacing on social media platforms many initially believed that it is a pre-announcement strategy for the sequel. But now it is clear that Hrithik Roshan, Farhan and Abhay have collaborated for a commercial promoting Yas Island Abu Dhabi Tourism.
Just a glimpse of the three actors in one frame made fans of ZNMD nostalgic as the camaraderie between them seems untouched from the times they completed Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. It is as if they are taking the trip further after completing the movie. Both Farhan and Zoya Akhtar are well aware how much the audience wants the sequel to come but the latter said that they can do it only with the right script.
Fans speculate script for ZNMD 2
One of the Reddit users has come up with an idea for the sequel. He suggested that the producers show the three actors-Hrithik Roshan , Farhan Akhtar, and Abhay Deol going through a mid-life crisis regarding their respective married life. That is when they decide to take a road trip with each other, discuss issues, and fall in love once again with their partners.
It is a wonderful idea. Another concept is neither of the three is married and Hrithik Roshan has lost touch with Katrina Kaif as well. Now all the three go on a road trip to track her down and eventually end up finding partners for them.
So there are many ideas that can be developed. But now it is up to Farhan and Zoya to see if the sequel gets made or not.
