Cricketer Yuvraj Singh celebrates his birthday today. The cricket legend, who turned 40 on Monday, thanked fans for being there for him on all occasions and being his pillar of strength.

On the other hand, it is superstar Rajinikanth’s birthday today! Fans of both Yuvi and Rajini sir went crazy as the two legends share the same birth date. The megastar turned 72 today and fans are leaving no stone unturned in celebrating his birthday.

Theatre owners in Tamil Nadu re-released his superhit movie ‘Baba’ to mark Thalaivar’s birthday. Fans went crazy in theatres after seeing Rajini sir on the big screen.

Former cricketer Mohammad Kaif was the first person to wish both Yuvi and Rajinikanth in style. He took to his Twitter handle and compared Yuvraj to superstar Rajinikanth. Sharing pictures of both Rajni sir and Yuvi, he wrote, “Birthday isn’t the only thing common to Rajni Sir and my dear friend Yuvraj Singh. They make us believe in miracles, they bring smiles to the faces of millions. Bhai ko pyaar, sir ko salute.”

Similarly, Yuvi thanked his fans for all the love and shared, “Being there from ball 1 to the time I decided to hang up my jersey, the fans have always been with me. Moreover, fans poured in birthday wishes for the megastar and the former all-rounder as they called him The man for big occasions, the man of ICC Tournaments, The King of Sixes, One of the Greatest Ever, The Fighter and The warrior.

Apart from fans, cricket legends and friends from the film and sports fraternity also wished the former star batsman.

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar wished his favourite Yuvi and wrote, “Happy birthday Yuvi! Have spent some of my most memorable moments with you on and off the field. Look forward to many such moments… Wish you a great day and year ahead sooperstar..!!”

Similarly, actor Dulquer Salmaan wished Rajini sir and wrote, “Happy Birthday Superstar Rajinikanth sir! You are the best & keep inspiring us forever.”
