Exclusive: Huma Qureshi Reveals Maharani 2 Release Date

Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi, who recently completed 10 years in the film industry, has worked in a slew of movies like Gangs of Wasseypur, Ek Thi Daayan, Dedh Ishqiya, Badlapur, Leila and Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana.

The diva has also ventured into the OTT Space with web series Maharani and Mithya. She received rave reviews for her portrayal of two very distinct characters... In Maharani she is seen as 'Rani Bharti'- a village woman who becomes Chief Minister fighting all the odds- while in Mithya she plays the role of a Hindi professor- Juhi Adhikary. 

Huma has beautifully portrayed both the character, Rani Bharti and Juhi Adhikary, giving OTT another versatile star from Bollywood.   

As Huma's effortless portrayal of Rani Bharti got her accolades from fans and critics alike, and the series ended in a cliffhanger, fans had been waiting for the season 2 of the show. 

Now, Huma Qureshi has put an end to all the speculations surrounding the release of Maharani 2. In an exclusive interview with OTV Digital, Huma revealed that Maharani season 2 will be hitting OTT in July or August this year.

On the work front, Huma was last seen in the Tamil movie Valimai alongside Ajith. She also had a special appearance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’.
