Drishyam 3: Mohanlal announces shooting plans, Ajay Devgn to commence simultaneously!

Mollywood superstar Mohanlal is all set to reprise his iconic role of George Kutty in Drishyam 3. Recently, the actor announced the shooting plans of the much-awaited third instalment of the Drishyam franchise. Meanwhile, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is also gearing up to commence the Hindi version of Drishyam 3 simultaneously.

Mohanlal Announces Shooting Plans for Drishyam 3

On Saturday evening, Mohanlal took to X and shared a short clip to announce that the shooting of Drishyam 3 will commence in October 2025. The clip shows a close-up shot of his character- George Kutty.

Further, it shows, Mohanlal shaking hands with director Jeethu Joseph and producer Anthony Perumbavoor.  The caption for the post read, "October 2025 - the camera turns back to Georgekutty. The past never stays silent. #Drishyam3." (sic)

Ajay Devgn To Commence Drishyam 3 Simultaneously

Meanwhile, reports have been abuzz that Ajay Devgn is gearing up to return as Vijay Salgaonkar with Drishyam 3. Reportedly, producers Kumar Mangat and Abhishek Pathak have locked the shooting dates and are gearing up to commence shooting soon. Reportedly, Drishyam 3 is expected to go on floors on October 2, 2025.

A source close to the development revealed to Pinkvilla that Ajay Devgn has already allotted his dates for the film.

The source said, "The Gandhi Jayanti date holds a lot of significance for the Drishyam franchise, and hence they are embarking on the journey for the final Drishyam film from October 2, 2025. It's a marathon schedule, spanning 3 months at real locations in Maharashtra, as also the studio set up."

If the reports are anything to go by, Mohanlal and Ajay Devgn will commence Drishyam 3 shooting, simultaneously.
