Model Aleksandar Alex Ilic is a well-known face on social media, thanks to his close bond with beautiful actress Disha Patani. He is often spotted in the gym and dining out with the Baaghi 2 actress.
While reports suggest that the two are best friends, many assume that they are indeed dating after Disha Patani’s alleged break-up with action star Tiger Shroff. However, the handsome model from Serbia has finally opened up on the dating rumours and laid everything to rest.

Speaking to Bombay Times, Alex revealed how he is a close friend of Disha. He talked about their struggling days and how they shared a flat with her and others in 2015. He further added that they met during their initial days in Mumbai and were signed under the same agency.
Their connection over fitness made them best friends, he added.
“Disha has been like family to me. In this competitive field, whenever we felt low, we have been there for each other. I see how this guessing game has been going on for a few weeks. The thing is that we know the truth. I don’t understand why people need to guess about what is going on? Why can’t they just let other people live their own lives peacefully? We just laugh off these stories,” he quipped on the dating rumours.

Aleksandar who shares a close relation with Tiger as well, also commented about Tiger and Disha’s rumoured break up and said, “I am no one to comment about anyone else. Well, I am close to both of them, and yes, we do hang out together.”
“The dating rumours have no impact on both Disha and me. We are happy in our own space,” he added.
Earlier, Tiger opened up on his love life in Karan Johar’s chats how Koffee With Karan season 7 and revealed that he was very much single that led to speculations of his break-up with Disha Patani. However, the reason for their splits is yet to be known.
On the work front, Disha was last seen in Ek Villain Returns also starring John Abraham, Arjun Kapoor and Tara Sutaria. She will be seen next in Yodha, alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Raashii Khanna.
