SS Rajamouli is a proud father of two adopted children. He adopted his wife Rama’s son Karthikeya, from her previous marriage. Later, after their wedding, the couple adopted a daughter and named her SS Mayookha.

The adoption took place after the couple’s years of unfulfilled longing to expand their family. Although they had Karthikeya, the couple always harbored a desire to provide a loving home to a child in need. Rajamouli, known for his larger-than-life films, chose to adopt a young girl.

SS Mayookha gained attention online after Rajamouli shared how his daughter had gone on a date with Bollywood heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra. The filmmaker’s daughter, who had a huge crush on the ‘Student of the Year’ actor got the chance to spend quality time with him.
Rajamouli expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Sidharth for meeting his daughter and making her day extra special. The filmmaker also appreciated Sidharth for his valuable advice to her, mentioning that it had made their lives easier.
Taking to X, Rajamouli shared, “Thanks a lot Sidharth for meeting my daughter. She is super super excited. And thanks for your advice to her. Makes our lives easier.”
