Dhoom 4 is one of the highly-anticipated movies. Soon after reports surfaced that the Animal star will play the antagonist in Dhoom Reboot, fans are wondering about Ranbir Kapoor's leading lady in the movie. Now, the latest buzz suggests that makers are in talks with Shraddha Kapoor.
Notably, Shraddha Kapoor has been grabbing the headlines following the mammoth success of horror-comedy Stree 2, also starring Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana with Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan and Tamannaah Bhatia in special roles. Reportedly, the global lifetime collection of Stree 2 is recorded over Rs 826 crore.
Well, fans credit the grand success of Stree 2 for the makers of Dhoom considering Shraddha as the leading lady opposite Ranbir.
Commenting on the recent buzz about Shraddha entering the Dhoom franchise, one user wrote, "Age-appropriate and they look good together. Shraddha will bring her own army of fans!" (sic)
Another wrote, "Maybe 'Stree's success made them do it. Shraddha is loved by the masses. Her Instagram is cringe, but many people keep up with it. Ranbir-Shraddha can be a hit pairing for YRF." (sic)
After reports of Ranbir Kapoor coming on board as the antagonist, speculations were rife about Vijay Krishna Acharya being considered for helming the reboot. However, later reports surfaced that YRF and Aditya Chopra are considering Ayan Mukerji as the director for Dhoom 4. Reports claimed that Aditya is extremely impressed with the output of War 2 for which Ayan is his first choice for Dhoom 4. On the other hand, reports have surfaced that Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will not reprise their iconic cop roles in Dhoom Reboot. Instead, Aditya will bring in popular actors from the new generation. While it is speculated that the director and cast for Dhoom 4 will be finalised by mid of 2025, the makers have plans to go for filming in early 2026.
If the latest buzz is anything to go by, Shraddha teaming up with his 'Tu Jhuti Mein Makkar' costar may again prove to be a hit pairing.
Well, Yash Raj Films (YRF) hasn't issued an official statement backing up any of the claims.
