Dhoom 2 featuring Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan , and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is one of the biggest hits from YRF. The first-time pairing of Duggu and Ash had already increased the hype of the movie both being the most beautiful people in Bollywood. Interestingly, the movie was being released around the same time when Ash was engaged and set to marry Abhishek Bachchan.
While Abhishek played the lead protagonist, Hrithik Roshan was the lead antagonist and Ash was paired with the Krrish actor. Hrithik and Ash had some hot dance numbers and a kissing scene that did not seem to go down well with the Bachchan family as Aishwarya was their would-be-bahu. There was a huge buzz that the Bachchan family was furious with the kiss.

When during an interview Hrithik Roshan was asked about this reaction from the Bachchan family he intelligently dodged the reply and instead said, “Well this is one thing I want to say about kissing. It came with this one big condition that Suzzane had put on me when she said that if you are going to do this then you better make sure that it is the best damn kiss in the whole wide world. “
“So the only thing on my mind was that I have to live up to that expectation. And that is the only reason I was tensed while watching Dhoom because it got to make the great. You know, with her. So that went off well,” he added. Nevertheless, while the storm for the kiss at the Bachchan front calmed down immediately, it was the legal issues that Ash had to face that created quite a problem for the family.
In one of her interviews, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan said that she received a few legal notices for her steamy, hot kiss with Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2 because her fans were not happy. For Ash who previously turned down movies if they involved a kissing scene, Dhoom 2 was her first attempt at doing a kissing scene.
