While all the soundtracks of Bunty Aur Babli were incredible, the item song 'Kajra Re' truly outshined. From its lyrics, music and choreography to the song featuring Amitabh, Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai, everything about the chartbuster remains iconic even after 20 years. The trio has recreated the iconic moment at award ceremonies. Well, here we bring two videos in which Aaradhya Bachchan replaced her grandfather Amitabh Bachchan and grooved to the iconic track with Abhishek and Aishwarya.

Aaradhya Bachchan Replaced Amitabh Bachchan
Earlier in April, Abhishek and Aishwarya attended a cousin's wedding in Pune, with Aaradhya Bachchan. The family posed with for pictures with the bride and groom with happy faces.
However, what stole the show was Aaradhya joining her parents on the dance floor. While Abhishek and Aishwarya recreated the iconic hook step of their unforgettable masterpiece Kajra Re, Aaradhya joined them and perfectly matched the steps.
Once again at another wedding event, Aaradhya stole the show as she replaced BigB and joined her parents to shake a leg to the same iconic song.
In the viral video, singer Rahul Vaidya is seen singing 'Kajra Re' on the dhol beats. As Aish starts shaking a leg to the beat, Abhishek and Aaradhya join her while clapping.

During a recent interview with The Indian Express, choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant recalled her experience of choreographing Kajra Re.
As Vaibhavi shared, she was already done with 'Chup Chup Ke' and 'Dhadak Dhadak' when she was informed about doing a song with Amitabh and Abhishek. She recalled that the makers said to her that they wanted to do a fusion qawwali-meets-mujra. While everybody thought 'Kajra Re' was a slow burn, Aditya and Shaad Ali (director) thought that it was very rooted and had the perfect ingredients for a mass song. After seeing the choreography, Adi predicted that the song would be revered for a long time.

Finally, the shooting began on Abhishek's birthday. The shooting started post-lunch as Adi had given her a tight deadline of four days. As it was the first song of the father-son duo, Junior Bachchan was quite nervous. However, Vaibhavi assured him that she would balance everything as Senior Bachchan is 'not a father on set'.
Well, Adi broke the news about Aishwarya as the female lead for the song. Aish was on a sabbatical before Kajra Re and the song would have marked her comeback. While she had never done before anything like the song, she was cynical. However, Vaibhavi was confident and assured her that she would be able to do it. Aishwarya made her comeback with a different energy and the rest is history.
