BTS ARMY goes wild as V shows off ripped physique after 10kg weight loss

BTS member Kim Taehyung, aka V, continues to captivate fans even while serving in the military. On March 23, the 29-year-old singer surprised ARMY with new gym selfies, showcasing his lean and toned physique after shedding 10 kg.

Taehyung took to Weverse to update fans on his fitness transformation. He shared two workout photos—one capturing him in a grey vest and yellow beanie, highlighting his buffed-up biceps, and another where he is seen holding an EZ bar, flaunting his muscular arms and veins.

Alongside the images, he wrote: "So recently…! I lost a lot of weight, right? I lost 10 kg…hahahaha. I’ll keep putting in the work."

ARMY Reacts to V’s Transformation

As soon as the images surfaced on X (formerly Twitter), fans flooded the internet with admiration:

“Oh wow, he is so handsome, and I don’t know what to say. I’m charmed.”

“Still beautiful and healthy as always! Losing or not losing kg, you are a sweetheart.”

 “THOSE VEINS?! THOSE HANDS?! THOSE ARMS?! Sue him someone, this is ILLEGAL!!”

Many also speculated that V is gearing up for BTS’ reunion and upcoming concerts. One fan commented: “He buffed up for his military service and now is getting in shape for their stage performances. I’m sure he’ll continue working hard!”

V’s Military Service & Discharge Date

Before enlisting in December 2023, V told fans he planned to increase his weight to 86 kg to build strength for his military training. Last month, he shared a Weverse update revealing his weight at 72.5 kg (160 lbs) before embarking on his fitness journey.

Currently, Taehyung is stationed in the 2nd Infantry Division, Ssangyong Unit, in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province, under the Special Task Force of the Military Police Corps. He is expected to complete his mandatory service by June 2025.
