The new variant of Covid-19 seems to have once again taken a toll on some of the big upcoming releases as the makers of Shahid Kapoor-starrer Jersey have reportedly decided to postpone the release date of the film due to the rising cases of Omicron.
The makers have released an official statement stating that the theatrical release of Jersey has been postponed in view of the current circumstances and new covid guidelines.
Jersey, which is a remake of actor Nani's Telugu movie by the same name, was scheduled to hit the theatres on December 31.
Ishaan-Ananya’s Night Out
Bollywood's budding stars Ishaan Khatter and Ananya Panday, who are rumoured to be dating, were spotted together in a car on Monday.
Ishaan and Ananya had appeared together in the 2020 film Khaali Peeli. As the duo is often seen together, it gave birth to the rumours of them dating.
However, the actors have never commented on the rumours of them being in a relationship.
Rajesh Khanna Biopic
According to ANI, producer Nikhil Dwivedi has announced a biopic on superstar Rajesh Khanna. The announcement has come on the eve of the late actor's 79th birth anniversary.
"Yes, I've acquired the rights to Gautam Chintamani's book, Dark Star, and I'm in talks with Farah Khan to make the film. That's all I can say for now. As and when any major development happens, I'll be happy to share because I'm really very excited about bringing Rajesh Khanna's story to the big screen," he said.
