Prasanth Varma’s first instalment of his superhero cinematic universe HanuMan, starring Teja Sajja, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Amritha Aiyer, and Vinay Rai in the lead, has scripted history with its box office collections. On day 13, continuing its monstrous box office success, HanuMan has grossed Rs 231.27 crore worldwide. Now, all eyes are set on Jai Hanuman, the sequel to HanuMan.
On January 22, a day after the historic Ayodhya Ram Temple consecration event, director Varma announced his sequel ‘Jai Hanuman’ on social media. Along with the announcement, he shared a picture in which he can be seen with the script at a Hanuman temple. While the helmer has already begun the pre-production work, movie lovers are quite anxious about who will play the lead role in the story.
While there are no updates regarding the lead actor in Jai Hanuman, Varma has revealed about it during an interview with Zoom Entertainment.
Varma said that he had a few meetings with actors and the movie will star big actors from all over the country. Moreover, he also said that a Bollywood actor will play the lead role and discussions are now underway. Varma will soon announce all the details regarding the cast of the movie.
Further, he added that he will be casting a big star as the film involves the sentiments of the entire country. The director said that he has a Bollywood actor who is big in history and who is confident about playing the lead role. However, he also wants to make sure that the test look is confirmed.
Well, such a revelation must have filled anticipation among all, as in, who is the lucky Bollywood actor to star in the sequel of HanuMan.
While Varma clarified that the scripting work for the sequel has already begun, he has to work on the makeup, look test, and other details to look into it. Considering the hints of Varma, it can be said that Jai Hanuman will be a multi-starrer movie with actors from all industries and such an initiative is to target the pan-India audience.
