Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal has created quite a stir at the box office. The film has already crossed the 200-crore mark in just three days in India and has become Ranbir’s highest opener.
With positive reviews, the movie continues to roar at the box office and the response of the audience is reflected in its box office collection. All the star cast including Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna are earning praise for their performance.
However, it is actor Bobby Deol who has grabbed all the limelight with his performance despite limited screen time.
Deol has become one of the major highlights of the film, thanks to his portrayal as the antagonist Abrar Haque in the movie.
Bobby is getting rave reviews for his performance as a man ‘obsessed’ with revenge. However, Bobby Deol isn’t too happy with Animal. Well, he is happy for all the love that is coming his way. But, he is not happy and wishes he had more screen time in the movie.
The actor is thankful to his fans for the love and wishes he had more performances. Even, fans and audiences are disappointed that the actor had limited screen time. With the performance he has given, fans would have loved to see more of him in the movie.
However, the ‘Aashram’ actor believes that his character had a lot of substance and he wasn’t too concerned about the length of the role.
“It’s not the length of the role, it is the kind of the character which has so much substance. I wish I had more scenes but when I signed the film, I knew this is what I had. At this point in my life, I was grateful to god that I was given this chance to play this role by Sandeep,” Bobby was quoted as saying by The Times of India.
“I knew I had only 15 days of work and wouldn’t be there throughout the film. I was sure people would notice me, but I never realized that there would be so much love, appreciation, and affection. People have loved the character so much that there should be a spin-off. It is so encouraging that people appreciate your work and they want to see more of you. It feels good,” he added.
