However, of late, Ankita has been grabbing the limelight by revealing interesting unknown facts about the late actor and her former boyfriend Sushant Singh Rajput. Although, fans have expressed their resentment over Ankita dragging Sushant in all the topics, the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actress makes new revelations every time about her relationship with the late actor.
Recently, the ‘Manikarnika’ actress once again remembered Sushant and got emotional in the show. The conversation began after Munawar and Ankita started singing Sushant’s song ‘Kaun Tujhe Yun Pyaar Karega’ from the movie MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.
During the conversation, Ankita revealed that Sushant was a nice person and added that she feels strange for saying ‘was’ in the past tense. She further revealed that things have become normal for her now, but it was not easy for her when he passed away.
She revealed she could not believe it and was in shock after learning about Sushant’s death as it was the first time that someone close to her passed away suddenly.
“Yeh bahut shocking tha. Main toh uske funeral pe bhi nahi gayi thi. Mai jaa hi nahi payi. Maine bola mai nahin dekh sakti yeh. Vicky ne bola that u jaakar aa par maine bola nahin,” she revealed.
Ankita’s confession has left fans heartbroken who took to the comment section and sympathized with the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ actress.
For the unversed, Ankita and Sushant first met during the making of ‘Pavitra Rishta’ and had been in a relationship for several years before Sushant forayed into movies and called it quits with her.
