He mostly worked in the Bengali and Hindi film industry and has even sung a few songs that have become an evergreen hit. During the days of Himmatwala and Tohfa, Jeetendra was a big star and all his films were jubilee hits. Bappi Lahiri has given music to 13 such jubilee hit movies which starred Jeetendra in the lead. And all these movies were released between 1983 and 1985 and are considered a historical feat.
Composing For Hollywood Project to Collaborating with International Singers
The famous music composer once composed a song for Hollywood movie Lion which starred Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman. Titled Come Closer, the song was inspired by Body Talk by Imagination released in 1981. He has also collaborated with international singers Akon and Lady Gaga.

In 1986, the famous Bong music director created history and got his name in the Guinness Book of World Records for recording 180 songs for 33 movies in just one year.
