The iconic television drama ‘Bade Achhe Lagte Hain’ is all set to make a much-anticipated return with a brand-new season.
This time, popular actors Shivangi Joshi and Harshad Chopda will be seen in the lead roles, bringing new energy and a fresh storyline to the beloved show created by Ekta Kapoor.

A New Chapter: Meet Rishabh and Bhagyashree
In the upcoming season, Shivangi Joshi and Harshad Chopda will portray Bhagyashree and Rishabh, a happily married couple with unique cultural backgrounds—Bhagyashree being South Indian and Rishabh, a Punjabi. Their on-screen pairing, dubbed "RishRee" by fans, marks the first time the two actors will share screen space.
The story promises to showcase a refreshing and unique love tale. In a recent interview with Aaj Tak, Shivangi described it as "interesting and unique," while Harshad hinted at "sprinkles of newness" in the narrative. A light-hearted twist involves Bhagyashree’s pet dog, Kaddu, who is expected to play a cupid-like role in the couple’s story.
High Anticipation and Star-Studded Cast
Excitement around the show has been growing ever since the teaser promo was released a month ago. The chemistry between the lead actors and the captivating plot grabbed viewers’ attention instantly. Social media has been abuzz, with fans expressing their enthusiasm for the new season.
Although the official confirmation from the makers is still awaited, Harshad Chopda hinted off-camera that the show will premiere on June 16 at 8 PM, a date later supported by Gossip TV. Shivangi Joshi also confirmed in an ABP News interview that the launch is “very soon.”
Adding to the buzz, there are reports that Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar, stars of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, may make cameo appearances in the new season—though this has not yet been officially confirmed.
The show also reportedly features a large ensemble cast, including Pyumori Mehta, Aparna Dixit, Roshni Chopra, Jyoti Neggii, Khushbu Thakkar, Gaurav S Bajaj, Mansi Srivastava, Manoj Kolhatkar, Nitin Bhatia, Divyangana Jain, Rishi Deshmukh, Yash Pandit, Pankaj Bhatia, Rohit Choudhary, Arushi Handa, and Avirath Parekh. However, the final confirmed list of actors is still awaited.

Shivangi’s Transformation and Behind-the-Scenes
Shivangi Joshi revealed that playing Bhagyashree came with physical demands. She lost 8 kg for the role, calling it “a very difficult task.” Both she and Harshad recently shot the show's montage and interacted with media outlets to offer insights into their characters and the show’s direction.
