Vicky Kaushal and Triptii Dimri’s Bad Newz trailer is here. Produced by Dharma Productions the movie also stars Neha Dhupia and Ammy Virk in important roles. The comedy movie is all about Triptii Dimri’s character getting pregnant but is unaware of the father of the child. She first meets Vicky Kaushal and has a fling but later on, finds herself getting attracted to Ammy Virk. She is pretty unsure of who the father is.
To top it all along with Neha Dhupia when Triptii goes to the gynaecologist he suggests a paternity test to decide the parent of the child. Interestingly the paternity test indicates a very rare condition in which both Vicky Kaushal and Ammy Virk have fathered the child. This triggers a riot comedy ride in which Vicky and Ammy can be seen struggling to declare themselves as the father of the child whereas Triptii Dimri is busy finding out who will be a better father for her child among the two.
Vicky Kaushal steals the show, and Triptii Dimri has a limited presence in the trailer
The star of the trailer of Bad Newz is Vicky Kaushal who steals the show with his flamboyance and comic timing. Both Neha Dhupia and Ammy Virk look convincing and apt for the role they are performing. However, the biggest disappointment is the Bulbbul actress who seems to have a barely there presence in the trailer.
No doubt since she is the only female lead in Bad Newz Triptii Dimri will get a good screen time in the movie. But going by the trailer it seems that the meaty dialogues and sequences are mostly in between Vicky and Ammy. Importantly, Triptii fails to impress even in the short duration that she has in the trailer.
This movie was announced before the release of Animal when Triptii was not a star that she is now. That can be one reason the male leads may have better scope in Bad Newz. But still after a blockbuster movie and becoming an overnight heart crush of India as Bhabhi 2, fans expected much more of her in the trailer. And it is quite obvious from the comments of fans that they were expecting to see more of her presence in the Bad Newz trailer.
