The Arya franchise remains special for Tollywood Icon Star Allu Arjun, filmmaker Sukumar and producer Dil Raju. Last month reports of Dil Raju registering the Arya 3 title filled excitement among fans. While many were excited about Sukumar and Allu Arjun joining forces for the third instalment of the Arya franchise, it was reported that Dil Raju might be planning to use the title of the iconic franchise for his nephew Ashish Reddy. However, recently the producer has reportedly shared an update and cleared the air on the lead actor.
Arya 3 Not With Ashish Reddy
Following the swirling rumours of Dil Raju's plans to cast his nephew, Ashish Reddy, fans of the Icon Star demanded that Allu Arjun himself reprise the iconic role in Arya 3.
Recently, during the promotions of Thammudu, Dil Raju dismissed the rumours of casting his nephew Ashish Reddy in Arya 3.
As reported by 123Telugu, the producer said, "During a casual conversation with Sukumar, we stumbled upon an exciting idea. It has the potential to be as trend-setting as Arya. A filmmaker who has immense passion for cinema just like Sukumar is the perfect choice to helm such a project."
Further, he added, "Once the script is finalised, we will begin the search for protagonist. Ashish is not playing the lead.”
Well, now that Dil Raju has confirmed Sukumar's involvement with Arya 3, fans can just hope for Allu Arjun to come on board and reprise his iconic character Arya.
