Fans know that Anushka and Sakshi share a great rapport but many don’t know that they have been classmates and grew up in the same city. The pictures of the two star-wives from their school days have been doing rounds on the Internet and taken the fans by a pleasant surprise.
A number of adorable pictures from their school days in Margherita, Assam have gone viral on social media. In one picture, Sakshi is seen dressed as an angel and Anushka wearing a pink lehenga and in another picture they are in the same kindergarten class. In other pictures, the two have grown up and hanging out with friends.
Earlier in an interview, Anushka Sharma had opened up about her connection with Sakshi Dhoni. She said, “Sakshi and I lived together in a very small town in Assam. When she told me where she lived, I said wow, I have lived here too! She said I went to this school, I said I went to this school too.”
Talking about the fancy dress picture, the actor had added, “And then I found a picture in which Sakshi is dressed as a fairy and I'm dressed in a ghaghara like my favourite idol Madhuri. Sakshi is extremely funny.”
