In Anupamaa, Kavya is hell-bent on throwing Anu out of the house of the Shah. Now that her plan to create a rift between Kinjal and Anu has failed, she is trying to find new ways of humiliating the ex-wife of her husband Vanraj. In between, the family is now planning a surprise birthday party for Samar. The Shah’s are happy that they have something to celebrate after a long time.
Kavya now wants Vanraj to consummate their marriage and have children with him. She confronts Vanraj with this issue and says that she would like Vanraj to take responsibility for their children. But instead of being overjoyed with this planning, Vanraj is shocked as he has no intention of having children at this age. This will lead to a big showdown between Vanraj and Kavya and the former will tell his wife that she should stop having any ideas of having kids with him as he is not interested to have children at this age.
After this showdown, Vanraj storms out of the room leaving Kavya alone, and joins the Shah family and Anupamaa who are planning the secret birthday party for Samar. Irked by these developments, Kavya will now come up with yet another evil plan to put the Shah family to shame.

Elsewhere, Anu wants to give a memorable gift to Samar and requests Baa to give Samar permission to marry Nandini. After a lot of coaxing from Anu, Baa finally gives in and gives her consent to the marriage between Samar and Nandini. But the pregnancy news from Kavya is going to create more twists and drama in the upcoming episodes of Anupamaa and the Shah’s will not be able to enjoy Samar’s birthday properly.
