Star Plus' show ‘Anupamaa’ continues to captivate audiences with intriguing twists and turns. The current storyline centres on Anuj and Anupama struggling to hide their feelings for each other. During Dimpy and Titu's haldi ceremony, Shruti makes a dramatic entrance, disrupting a special moment between Anuj and Anupama.
The upcoming episode promises major drama as Anuj breaks his engagement with Shruti after confronting her about her conspiracy against Anupama.
Notably, Anu discovered Shruti's malicious plans and exposed her scheming ways. Anupamaa directly confronted Shruti, uncovering that Shruti had orchestrated a negative review from a food critic to sabotage Anupamaa's cooking and tarnish her reputation.
During this confrontation, Shruti admitted her motive was to drive Anupamaa away from Anuj. Following this revelation, Anupamaa informs Yashdeep about Shruti's involvement with the food critic, Ms. Smith, and her role in exaggerating the situation.
While Anuj was in doubt about Shruti hiding something but when he overhears Yashdeep and Anu’s conversation related to Shruti’s conspiracies against Anupama, he gets flabbergasted.
He recalls the time when Anupama was insulted, and her capabilities and loyalty were questioned after cockroaches were found in the food cooked by her in Spice and Chutney. Almost everyone left her side when she was at her lowest. Anuj feels sorry for Anupama and decides to punish Shruti for her actions. He decides to break his engagement with Shruti and end their relationship, leaving her distraught.
Shruti accepts everything and blames Anu for taking such drastic steps, thinking Anu was taking Anuj away from her. She also forces Anu to keep her hand on Adhya’s head and admit if she still loves Anuj.
It will be interesting to see if Anu and Anuj will unite in the upcoming episodes. Also, if Adhya will once again blame Anu for destroying her happiness; or, if Shruti will gain sympathy from Adhya and force Anuj to marry her.
