Actress Ameesha Patel is back in the headlines following the re-release of her blockbuster debut flick Kaho Na...Pyaar Hai, with Hrithik Roshan. The re-release took fans on a nostalgic ride and Ameesha is all over social media. Amid this, the Gadar actress recently addressed her fans' curiosity about her potential marriage to Salman Khan. She also talked about the 'great reason' why they should come together.
Ameesha Patel on Potential Marriage To Salman Khan
During an interview with Bollywood Bubble, when Ameesha Patel was asked humorously about Salman and she being unmarried, she said, "Fans actually have raised this question to me recently on Ask Amy Twitter chat."

The Yeh Hai Jalwa actress added, "They are like 'Okay, he is so eligible, you are so eligible, you are so good-looking, please get married to have good-looking babies'."
The Humraaz actress giggled and continued, "And, I was like wow. That's a great reason. I think, the world likes seeing beautiful people come together."
Further, she added, "They wanted to see me and Hrithik come together post Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai. And when he announced his marriage, they were heartbroken. They were like no this can't happen."
Notably, in 2024, a fan poked fun both at Ameesha and Salman being unmarried. The fan further asked if there is a possibility of them tying the knot.
Ameesha recalled the incident and said, "Salman is not married nor am I. So, you feel we should get married? What's your key point for us to get married- Shaadi or a film project?"
Ameesha Willing to Get Married!
Furthermore, Ameesha also said that she is willing to get married but is unable to find a groom.
"Ladka nahi mil raha hai, I am ready since long," she said.
Reflecting on her on-screen character portrayal, she said, "The beauty is, when your characters on the screen mean so much to people off-screen that they want this to happen in reality, you have done a good job. It's a testimony to your work that you could convincingly script through good performances... through great chemistry, that you know that the couple belongs to each other.

Notably, Ameesha Patel and Salman Khan worked together in 2022's Yeh Hai Jalwa. Though the movie underperformed at the box office, moviegoers loved the on-screen chemistry of the duo.
