Alia Bhatt represented India at Met Gala 2024, her second appearance at the prestigious event. She stunned in a Sabyasachi Mukherjee saree, adding a touch of desiness to the red carpet and captivating onlookers.

However, she now faces controversy for her inclusion in the Blockout 2024 list, accused of being 'complicit' in the ongoing Gaza crisis.

Alia joins other global celebrities like Nick Jonas, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Tiger Woods, Kendall Jenner, and Camila Cabello on the list, targeted for perceived silence over the Israel-Gaza conflict.

The movement gaining traction on social media aims to block and unfollow celebrities who remain silent on the issue.

Post-Met Gala, Alia turned heads at the Gucci Cruise 2025 Fashion Show in London, exuding glamour in a stunning black midi dress and complementing it with a bold red lipstick.

On the professional front, Alia has several projects lined up. She stars in ‘Jigra,’ a film centered around siblings, with Vedang Raina of The Archies fame playing her brother.

Additionally, she's set to appear in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's ‘Love & War,’ alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. She also has a YRF Spy Universe film with Sharvari Wagh.
