After Brahmastra, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor have reunited on screen for a new project, and it has already gone viral. Known for her admiration of Ranbir, Alia showcases a different side in this venture as she plays an ‘angry’ wife congratulating her husband in a unique way.
In the now-viral video, Alia enters the room where Ranbir lounges on a couch, admiring his trophy. When Ranbir asks if she is still mad and requests her congratulations, Alia prepares to celebrate his win with what appears to be champagne. Despite Ranbir’s caution about the mess, Alia sprays him with the drink. This video is part of an advertisement for a home furnishings brand.
In addition to their recent commercial, Alia and Ranbir are set for a cinematic reunion in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’, which will also feature Vicky Kaushal. Although details about the film are currently under wraps, it is expected to be a departure from Bhansali’s signature period dramas. The duo will also be seen together in ‘Brahmastra Part 2’.
Currently, Alia Bhatt is busy filming ‘Alpha’ with Sharvari Wagh and Bobby Deol. The shoot is ongoing with high security at Film City in Mumbai. Reports suggest that a particularly intense action sequence between Alia and Bobby Deol involves significant brutality and has required stringent security measures, with at least 100 guards at the location.
Earlier this year, Yash Raj Films’ CEO Akshaye Widhani confirmed Alia Bhatt’s involvement in a standalone YRF Spy Universe film, noting its importance in their portfolio. For Ranbir Kapoor, following the success of ‘Animal’, he is now working on Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’.
