Akshay Kumar has officially wrapped up the shoot of his upcoming horror-comedy film, Bhooth Bangla, and marked the occasion by sharing a behind-the-scenes video of a song featuring co-star Wamiqa Gabbi.
The actor took to Instagram to announce the wrap, saying, “And that’s a wrap on #BhoothBangla! My seventh madcap adventure with the ever-inventive Priyan sir, my second outing with the unstoppable Ekta, and my first but hopefully not the last, magical journey with the ever-surprising Wamiqa. Grateful for the madness, the magic, and the memories."

Star-Studded Cast and Director Reunion
The film reunites Akshay Kumar with director Priyadarshan after 14 years. The duo has a rich history of hits together, including Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, Bhagam Bhag, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and De Dana Dan. Their latest collaboration is set to deliver another blend of laughter and thrills.
Notably, the two are also teaming up for Hera Pheri 3, although the film recently faced a shakeup. Actor Paresh Rawal, known for his iconic role as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte, confirmed his exit from the franchise, leaving fans surprised.
It also stars Wamiqa Gabbi, Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Sharman Joshi, Mithila Palkar, Rajpal Yadav, and Jaaved Jaaferi, among others.
Bengali actor Jisshu Sengupta recently confirmed his role in the movie by sharing a monochrome selfie with Akshay from the set. He captioned the post, “Fun Times From The Sets Of #bhootbangla,” delighting fans.
Story, Writing, and Production
The horror-comedy is written by Aakash Kaushik, Abhilash S. Nair, and Priyadarshan, and produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor under Balaji Motion Pictures.
The film's first look was revealed on Akshay’s birthday last year, showing him sipping milk with a black cat on his shoulder and a fiery moon in the background.

Akshay Kumar’s Upcoming Film Line-up
Akshay Kumar has an exciting slate of films lined up. He will be seen in Welcome To The Jungle, the third installment of the popular Welcome franchise.
