Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has once again tested positive for Covid-19. The actor took to Twitter on Saturday to inform his fans about the infection.
"Was really looking forward to rooting for our cinema at the India Pavilion at #Cannes2022, but have sadly tested positive for Covid. Will rest it out. Loads of best wishes to you and your entire team, @ianuragthakur. Will really miss being there," tweeted the superstar.
Earlier in April 2021, the Khiladi actorhad tested positive for coronavirus. He had then shared a post on Instagram which read, “I wish to inform everyone that, earlier this morning, I have tested positive for COVID-19. Following all the protocols, I have immediately isolated myself.”
The Bachchhan Paandey actor will be next seen in the period drama Prithviraj which also stars Miss World 2017 Manushi Chillar, Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt. Directed by Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the film stars Akshay in the title role of King Prithviraj Chauhan.
Akshay Kumar is also likely to feature in an Amazon Prime series.
