Khiladi Akshay Kumar has been going through a rough phase professionally with most of his movies tanking at the box office. The action star, known for giving several consecutive hits, is going through a dull phase lately.

His last few movies have tanked very badly, resulting in huge loss to producers. While most of his movies easily entered the Rs 100 crore club, his last hit movie was before the lockdown. Cut to present, the superstar is struggling to deliver a double-digit opening.

Akshay Kumar has only one hit to his name after the pandemic that is Sooryavanshi with Katrina Kaif. His last few movies like Selfie, Mission Raniganj, Bell Bottom and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan miserably tanked at the box office.

Reacting to his flops, Akshay expressed grief over the loss suffered by his producers and also acknowledged the role of luck in his life.

“My father-in-law superstar Rajesh Khanna had seen the biggest success in life. He also saw a complete drop. So, I don’t let success or anything enter my head. What I do is, I take knowledge from other people, and I realise that these things are just to be kept at one-hand’s distance. My job is to just keep working,” Khiladi Kumar told Galatta Plus.

Her further added, “I have given 16-18 hits continuously, and also given 10-12 flops. I don’t take it seriously. It is like a crown that will be passed on to others. 

Today, it’s with you, next Friday it’ll be with somebody else. "Success is an amazing thing, but don’t take it seriously; it’ll run," he said.

Meanwhile, Akshay’s Sarfira, the remake of Tamil superstar Suriya’s ‘Soorarai Pottru’, has released and fans are hoping the superstar will bounce back to his stardom in full form.
