The rumours of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan's divorce have been doing rounds for a couple of months now. While the star couple are mum over the circulating rumours, the buzz intensified after none from the Bachchan family wished Aish on her birthday. Well, amid the divorce rumours, an old video of Salman Khan has resurfaced on social media. In the video, the Sikandar actor talked about his relationship with Aish. He also extended best wishes for Aish for tying the knot and called Abhishek a great guy.
Notably, Salman and Aishwarya's affair has remained one of the most talked about relationships of the tinsel town. While the duo have mostly remained silent about their relationship, during an old interview Sallu talked about his relationship with Aishwarya and also her marriage with Abhishek .
During his appearance on Aap Ki Adalat, when Sallu was asked about the allegations of abusive behaviour toward Aishwarya during his relationship, the Ek Tha Tiger actor replied, "What can I say about that sir? I believe personal lives should remain personal. If I defend myself, it would mean denying that someone was once an important part of life."
Further, during the interview, he also extended his best wishes for Aishwarya and Abhishek and called the Paa actor 'a great guy.'
The Wanted actor said, "The best thing to do is remain silent. It's been years now. She is happily married to a wonderful family, and I am very happy for her. Abhishek is a great guy. As an ex, you always want the other person to be happy- it also helps to ease any guilt you might feel."
