This confusion arose due to the striking physical resemblance between Surbhi and Dhanashree, especially after news of Dhanashree and Yuzvendra's divorce came to light. Many fans, unaware of the mix-up, targeted Surbhi on social media, assuming she was the one involved in the high-profile breakup.

Both Surbhi and Dhanashree share similar facial features, such as their eyes, and long, flowing hair. Their fair complexions, as well as similar hairstyles, further add to the confusion. Despite the resemblance, they are two very distinct individuals with different careers and lives, and it is important to differentiate between the two rather than resort to trolling or harassment based on mistaken identity.
Surbhi, who has no connection to the cricketer’s personal life, was unfairly subjected to negative comments and trolling simply because of her appearance.
