In a piece of shocking news, actress Poonam Pandey reportedly passed away late Thursday night. The actress was suffering from cervical cancer and passed away yesterday night at the age of 32, her team said.
The news of her death was first shared on her official Instagram handle.
“This morning is tough one for us. Deeply saddened to inform you that we have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer. Every living form that ever came in contact with her was met with pure love and kindness. In this time of grief, we would request for privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared,” the Instagram post read.
Fans outpoured love and wished her soul to rest in peace in the comment section.

For the unversed, Poonam Pandey who was a popular model rose to fame after she promised to strip if India won the 2011 Cricket World Cup final. Later, she was also seen in the first season of Lock Upp hosted by Kangana Ranaut.
Poonam was briefly married to Sam Bombay. However, the marriage did not last long and she accused him of domestic violence. She has worked in movies like Nasha, Love is Poison, Adalat, Malini & Co, Aa Gaya Hero, and The Journey of Karma.
