Abhishek Bachchan has topped the digital and streaming power list of 2025 released by Indian Streaming Academy. Interestingly it is not a big surprise for his fans as they were expecting it after his fabulous performances.
Junior Bachchan is one of the most low-profile actors who is never seen aggressively promoting his OTT releases or doing strong PR to catch attention. But slowly and steadily with good projects and strong acting, Abhishek Bachchan has developed a solid portfolio of OTT releases under his name. And that is the result this year he is at the top of ISA’s list.
Abhishek Bachchan has been outstanding on OTT
Abhishek has been in the movies for around 25 years now and has delivered some big hits like Guru and Dhoom. But the last decade was pretty rough for the Yuva actor. Nevertheless that was the time when he changed gears and started focussing on good roles on OTT.
From Breathe: Into The Shadows, Ludo, Dasavi, and I Want to Talk to Be Happy, his last few releases on digital platforms have slowly earned him a loyal fan following as well as critical acclaim.
Dasavi starring Abhishek Bachchan in the lead trended at the number one spot on Netflix whereas Be Happy was at the top of Amazon Prime Video. His recent release I Want to Talk earned him appreciation and lots of awards. The star is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie Housefull 5 which also has Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Nana Patekar, and others in important roles.
The founder of Indian Streaming Academy Vishnu Induri sharing his thoughts on the ISA list said, “India’s digital storytelling landscape is at its most exciting inflection point. With creators emerging from every corner of the country and stories resonating across borders, the Power List is a celebration of the minds shaping our entertainment future. It’s not just about content; it’s about cultural impact, and this list honours those who are rewriting the rules.”
The actual award ceremony will take place on July 5 in Mumbai.
