Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan and his second wife filmmaker Kiran Rao shocked everyone in after announcing their divorce. They tied the knot in 2005 and parted ways amicably in 2021. Earlier, during an interview, Rao said that she didn't fear getting divorced and she wanted to live independently. However, now Aamir has expressed his need for a life partner. During an interview, he also talked about the hurdles for him to get remarried and about his ex-wives as well.
After separation from his second wife Kiran Rao, Aamir is focused on his career. However, during the interview, he opened up about his need for companionship.
During the interview, he said, "I don't like living alone. I need a partner. I am not a loner, I like companionship."
Talking about his ex-wives, the Laal Singh Chaddha actor said, "I am very close to both my ex-wives Reena and Kiran, we are like one family."
During Rhea Chakraborty's podcast, Aamir shared his thoughts on marriage. When he was asked about marriage advice, he humorously talked about his previous two failed marriages. "I've had two unsuccessful marriages, so don't ask for marriage advice from me," he said.
Furthermore, when Rhea asks Aamir if he is considering marrying for the third time, the Dhoom 3 actor says, "I am 59 now, where will I get married again, mushkil lag raha hai (looks difficult). I have so many relationships in my life right now, I have reconnected with my family, my kids, etc. I am very happy just being with people who are close to me. I am working towards being a better person.”
On the work front, after Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir is prepping for Sitaare Zameen Par, alongside Genelia D'Souza Deshmukh. Apart from that, he is also producing Sunny Deol starrer Lahore 1947, helmed by Rajkumar Santoshi.
