Faissal Khan
Actor Faissal Khan, younger brother of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, has opened up about a time when he tried to mend his strained relationship with his sibling even turning to Shah Rukh Khan for help. The revelation comes years after the brothers’ differences made headlines and reached the courts.
A Failed Attempt at Reconciliation
Speaking to Pinkvilla, Faissal shared that during a particularly tense phase, family members were “poisoning” his relationship with Aamir. Feeling isolated, he decided to approach people Aamir had worked with in the past, hoping they could bridge the gap.
“I tried to contact Aditya Chopra… I went outside Yash Raj Films but didn’t get an appointment. I left a note for him. I also tried to call Shah Rukh Khan he didn’t entertain me. I even went outside Mannat,” Faissal revealed.
‘Aamir Is Too Powerful’
Faissal claimed that Aamir’s stature in the industry made it difficult for anyone to support him. “They must have thought I was mad because Aamir said so. Aamir Khan, the perfectionist, said it so they believed him,” he said.
A Bitter Past
The brothers’ feud peaked in 2007–08, when Faissal accused Aamir and other family members of forcibly keeping him under house arrest and administering unwanted medication. In a 2008 interview, he said the court ruled he was mentally fit and capable of living independently.
Career Journey
Faissal made his debut in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1988) and starred with Aamir in Mela (2000). His filmography includes Madhosh (1994), Chinar Daastaan-E-Ishq (2015), and his directorial debut Faactory (2021). In 2022, he entered Kannada cinema with Oppanda. His next project is yet to be announced.
