Bollywood's Mr Perfectionist Aamir Khan is known for his right script selection, dedication and versatility. However, a couple of his projects in the past few years failed to impress the audience. Thugs of Hindostan and Laal Singh Chaddha were box office disasters that left Aamir disturbed. Currently, he is busy working as a producer. Recently, he left many startled after announcing his retirement age. Moreover, his son Junaid Khan's statement also left many surprised. However, the latest buzz in the industry is that to make an impactful comeback, Aamir is going Shah Rukh Khan's way.
Notably, after the box office disaster of 'Zero' Shah Rukh made a comeback after four years with Pathaan which emerged as a blockbuster. Later, he teamed up with South ace director Atlee for Jawan, which was a box office monster. Jawan grossed more than Pathaan with a total of over Rs 1148.32 crore. Moreover, it became the fifth highest-grossing Indian film and second-highest Hindi film globally. In just 23 days, Jawan beat Pathaan's lifetime worldwide gross collection.

If the latest buzz is anything to go by, Aamir is going Shah Rukh Khan's way and teaming up with a South director for his next after Sitare Zameen Par.
As per the reports, Sitare Zameen Par is slated to be released in December 2024. Thus, Aamir is on the hunt for the right script to sign as an actor. For this, the Dhoom 3 actor is in talks with South director Lokesh Kanagaraj for an action drama. Lokesh is known for his projects like Khaidi, Vikram and Leo. Moreover, the buzz also suggests that top Tollywood production house Mythri Movie Makers are on board to produce the movie. As of now, the project is in the discussion stage. If everything falls in the right place, the project will be officially announced next year.
Well, if the buzz is anything to go by, Lokesh and Aamir would certainly craft a project that will become memorable for moviegoers and emerge as a blockbuster. However, fans need to wait for an official confirmation.
