7 fresh onscreen couples soon to hit the silver screen

In Bollywood, producers, actors, and directors mostly favour using the same old formula for making a movie successful. And understandingly so as millions of rupees are involved in its production.

Ditto with the pairing as you can see so many lead pairs who have been successful together being repeated quite often such as Govinda-Karisma Kapoor/Raveena Tandon, Salman Khan -Katrina Kaif, Kajol-Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan/Shah Rukh Khan-Juhi Chawla, Ranbir Kapoor/Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone and so on.

But fans also need a change even though they do love to see the chemistry between their favourite pairs occasionally. And it seems the makers are also in the mood to fulfil this wish of the audience as around 7 fresh new onscreen couples will make their debut soon on the big screen.

Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara

SRK and the Tollywood beauty will be seen sharing the screen space for the first time in Atlee-helmed Jawan which is the first Bollywood flick of Nayanthara. The trailer has received a very good response and the romantic number of the lead pair has hit the right cords. Jawan also has Deepika Padukone in a cameo and Vijay Sethupathi in an important role and will be released on September 7.

Shah Rukh Khan and Taapsee Pannu

Badshah Khan seems to be on the roll as he has another movie titled Dunki helmed by Rajkumar Hirani gearing up for release. For the first time he will share the screen space with Taapsee Pannu who has already worked with SRK but as a producer for Badla.

Rashmika Mandanna and Ranbir Kapoor

Rashmika Mandanna and Ranbir Kapoor will share the big screen for the first time for Animal. Incidentally, it is the official big-screen Bollywood debut of Rashoo who has already made her debut in Hindi cinema with Vikas Bahl’s Goodbye featuring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead released on OTT.

Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi

Katrina Kaif will be seen with South star Vijay Sethupathi in Merry Christmas directed by Sriram Raghavan. Kats is a big Bollywood superstar and it seems Vijay is very happy to share the big screen with her. The movie will be dubbed in multiple languages apart from Hindi and hence it would be interesting to watch how the audience react to this unusual pairing from Merry Christmas slated to release on December 15.

Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur

Although Aditya and Ananya Panday are the latest Bollywood couple in the news, on social media, the pairing of Sara Ali Khan and Aditya has triggered a of traction as they will be on the silver screen together for the first time. Sara and the Aashiqui 2 actor will be seen as a pair in Anurag Basu’s Metro In Dino.

Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon

Sasha and Kriti will be seen in a yet-untitled movie which is reportedly a romantic drama directed by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Sah. The movie is expected to be released in December this year and also features Dharmendra and Dimple Kapadia.

Disha Patani and Sidharth Malhotra

Both these actors started their journey in the film industry around the same time but never got the chance to work together. Fortunately, Dharma Productions which launched Sid with Student of the Year more than a decade ago now has paired him with the Baaghi 2 actress for their upcoming movie Yodha. The action and romantic thriller will hit the theatres on December 15.
