This movie features a character ‘Bertha Mason’ who is the total opposite of the Victorian era’s reserved and conservative manner. Locked in an attic room and denied of all passion and love, we can’t blame her for being crazy and untamable.
Angry Indian Goddesses (2015):
It features two aggressive and loyal friends who hunt down and kill five men who gang-raped and murdered her friend. Facing the police victim-blaming and shaming their friends and the lack of legal resources, we can’t fully condemn their acts.
