On the occasion of KGF Chapter 2 completing three successful years, the makers of the film released a special video featuring iconic scenes from the action-packed blockbuster.
The video, shared by Hombale Films, the production company behind the film, was posted on their X timeline with the caption: “He came… He saw… He conquered! Celebrating three glorious years of #KGFChapter2 and the monster’s mayhem at the box office.”

KGF Chapter 2: A Milestone in Indian Cinema
KGF Chapter 2, directed by Prashanth Neel, redefined the landscape of Indian action films. Released in 2022, the film shattered numerous box office records and became a cultural phenomenon. With Yash in the lead role as Rocky Bhai, the movie struck a chord with audiences not only in its native Kannada but also across multiple languages, marking a historic achievement in pan-India cinema.
The film's gripping storytelling, unforgettable dialogues, world-class action sequences, and stunning visuals elevated it to the top of Indian cinema. What About KGF Chapter 3?
As the anniversary celebrations continue, fans of KGF Chapter 2 are eagerly anticipating the release of KGF Chapter 3.
In October 2024, actor Yash, who portrays the iconic character Rocky Bhai, confirmed that KGF 3 is indeed in the works. Speaking in an interview, Yash shared, “KGF 3 will happen for sure, I promise. But I am focusing on these two projects [Toxic and Ramayan]. We keep talking about it, we have an idea... once it is the right time... it is massive so that also needs all our attention and focus.”
The teaser for the upcoming chapter hints at exploring Rocky’s life between 1978 and 1981, a time period not covered in the previous films. The teaser concludes with the message, “The mother of all collisions is yet to be witnessed.”
