Rashmika Mandanna is all set for the highly-anticipated flick Pushpa 2: The Rule, also starring Allu Arjun. Throughout her career spanning over 8 years,  Rashoo has cemented her place in the film industry and the hearts of her fans with her acting prowess. Rashoo, who debuted in 2016 with Kannada flick Kirik Party, has achieved heights of success in Bollywood as well as South Film Industries. But, did you know the Animal actress struggled with her lines during her first audition?

Recently, a video of 19-year-old Rashmika surfaced on the internet in which she is seen struggling while speaking her lines.

The audition tape shows Rashmika in two different looks. First, she is seen dressed in red and the next shows her in a floral kurta.

In the audition tape, Raasho says, "Hi, I am Rashmika. Age is 19. Height is 5’5. I am studying BA second year and this is the first time auditioning for something.”

Next, she is asked to speak in Kannada by someone off-camera and she does. After trying to speak some lines in Kannada, she frustratedly says, “I’m not getting it, I can’t do it.”

However, in the second half of the video, She seems a little more confident with her lines.

She even dances to Madhuri Dixit’s Aaja Nachle.

Well, the old video clip has gone viral on social media with fans sharing it massively.

Rise of 'National Crush'

Fans fondly dub Rashmika Mandanna as 'National Crush'. However, before she debuted with Kirik Party, Rashoo won the Fresh Face award in 2014 during her college. Later, she was encouraged to venture into acting. After her debut, the actor got engaged to her co-star Rakshit Shetty in 2017. She acted in Anjani Putra and Chamak in the same year. However, in 2018, they called off their engagement due to incompatibility. The same year she debuted in Telugu cinema with Chalo and she never looked back since then.

She rose to fame with Geetha Govindam. With Pushpa: The Rise, she drew the attention of moviegoers across the country. Next, she ventured into Tamil Film Industry in 2021 with Sulthan and she made her Bollywood debut with Goodbye in 2022. 

Apart from Pushpa 2, Rashmika has several projects lined up in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi now. The movies include Kubera, Rainbow, The Girlfriend, Chhaava and Sikandar.
