‘Kabir Singh’ fame Shahid Kapoor is currently basking in the success of his latest web series ‘Farzi’. After the stupendous success of ‘Farzi’, he is all set to return with the action thriller ‘Bloody Daddy’.
However, the actor has become a target of trolls after he allegedly said ‘Marriage is about women fixing men’ during a promotional interview for Bloody Daddy. The actor who is married to Mira Rajput and has two lovely kids, opened up on his marriage and his life before the wedlock.
He revealed how he felt very lonely and would often return home from work and award shows and spend time with his pet dog. So, he decided to get married and met Mira Rajput and instantly fell for her.
Speaking about it, he said, “This entire marriage thing is about one thing; the guy was a mess and the woman came in to fix him. So the rest of his life is going to be a journey of him getting fixed and becoming a decent person. That’s pretty much what life is about.”
Reacting to Shahid’s opinion, the anchor can be heard saying, ‘It seems like Mira Rajput is doing a great job.’
This did not go well with a section of internet users who trolled the actor for his opinion.
“I get that you played Kabir Singh but you don’t have to continue behaving like that,” commented a user.
Another user wrote, “This is what women are for? To fix men? Manchild.”
On the professional front, Shahid has been treating his fans with his versatility and impressive subjects that showcase his talent.
Apart from Bloody Daddy, Shahid has an untitled film with Kriti Sanon and a thriller movie to be directed by Roshan Andrews.
