Jengaburu, a new web-series based on nuclear power, is all set to be shot in Bhubaneswar, Konark and Keonjhar. Nila Madhab Panda, who will don the director’s hat, is all set to enthrall audience with the new web-series.
Jengaburu has seven episodes and it features popular south actor like M. Nassar and Faria Abdullah in lead roles. The web-series will be shot in exotic foreign locations like London and Burma. Besides, some parts of the project will be shot in Bhubaneswar, Konark and Keonjhar.
Meanwhile, Panda and the entire cast of the web-series paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik of Odisha during their stay in Odisha for shooting.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Panda wrote: "Honorable CM @naveen_odisha sir your words of encouragement always guide & motivate us to do better and better, also was wonderful interacting with Yemi Odanye sir, Thank you for Meeting team #Jengaburu."
Addressing media, Panda said, “The web-series is an environmental thriller. It is related to Odisha and based on Odisha tribes, little bit of mines, but mainly it’s all about nuclear power. Odia actor Faria will be seen in lead role. Besides, UK-based actor will be seen in negative role.”
Lead actor Nassar said, “I am really amazed because, from school time, we used to know only about Konark temple. And, it is something great than whatever I read in newspapers. It is greater than what we had heard. It’s a great place. I love the people here. They are so warm and so simple. I have seen so many cities. I love this city very much because it is quiet and people are very calm here.”
Lead actress Faria Abdullah said, “I am fortunate enough to do this project. I want this web-series to release soon so that you will come to know how much effort have been put into it. It’s not just a web-series; it deals with an important issue that the world is facing.”
Panda started his celluloid journey with 'I am Kalam' and subsequently carved a niche in filmdom by making films like 'Jalpari-the desert Mermaid', 'Kaun Kitney Paani Mein', 'Climates First Orphans', 'Babloo Happy Hai', 'Gods Own People', 'Kadvi Hawa', 'Halkaa', 'Biju Babu', 'Swajaldhara' and 'Kalira Atita'.
