Pakistan cricket great Shoaib Malik has been bearing the brunt of his angry fans ever since he announced his third marriage to actress Sana Javed. The sudden marriage of the cricketer who was earlier married to India’s tennis star Sania Mirza has taken fans aback.
Even as Sania went against the whole nation to marry him, the Pakistani man failed to keep the dignity of his marriage. This has left his fans fuming who are trending that it is better to be like singer Atif Aslam in a world full of Shoaib Malik.
Yes, you read that right! He might be a famous singer today, but Atif Aslam is still so down to earth and is still married to his college sweetheart and angel Sara Bharwana. His dreamy love story is like a fairy tale straight out of a Bollywood movie.
In an episode with Kapil Sharma, Atif revealed that it was love at first sight for the ‘Doorie’ singer. Like any filmy story, flowers started blooming and butterflies fluttering.
“I spotted her at a wedding. She was standing, looking beautiful. Having traveled the world and seen so many girls, she was the first one I wanted to talk to,” Atif revealed.
When Kapil persuaded further, he went on to say, “I did not contact her right away, but I waited. Then after two months, a mutual friend contacted me and I inquired about her. I contacted her and talked to her. We got married after being together for 7 years.”
Even though the two were head over heels for each other, they waited for nearly seven years to turn things around. It was only in 2012 that the couple, after making a successful career in music, made the official announcement of their love story.
Finally, with the consent of their family members, the two lovebirds got hitched on March 29, 2023. The couple is now blessed with two little sons. They are the perfect example of happily ever after.
